About this Nominee

At Your Mom’s Italian Kitchen & Bar, we do Italian differently—not your standard commercial kitchen. A dream realized by Alex Gonzalez 25 years in the making, opened June 2025, as a family-owned restaurant and has quickly become a Boulder City favorite by combining Italian classics with a modern clean-eating twist. Recently featured by TikTok/IG Influencer Danica Rose Muong @dvnicag with over 1.1M followers —-as Your Mom’s Italian Kitchen ‘Worth the Drive’ local and destination restaurant.

What people don’t know is that we are a diabetic family. We are also foodies and diabetic and foodie doesn’t always go hand and hand. From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: serve clean, fresh eats that every parent would be proud to feed their families while staying close to home. That means:

In addition to our ‘not so standard kitchen’, it’s our people that also set us apart. Kannon Rose and Bailey Bennett leading the way with exceptional hospitality, to our entire Mom Mob team — You come in a friends, and you leave as family.

In less than a year, Your Mom’s Italian Kitchen & Bar has become more than a restaurant — it’s a gathering place —the new ‘Cheers’ we are told (we’ll take that). A spot where locals connect, travelers discover Boulder City’s charm, and memories are created around the table.
