About this Nominee
We are one of the longest running outfitter on this section of the Colorado River. We love to share the beauty and magnificence of the Black Canyon with our guests. We strive to educate you about the wonders of the area in which we paddle. The Black Canyon and the Lake Mead National Recreation area are both awe inspiring natural wonders and are best explored by kayak!
Safety is our number one priority. All of our guides hold current WFA certificates and we run the most extensive guide training in the area. This includes kayak rescues, emergency response, and CPR certification. They are also well versed in natural history knowledge and interpretation and know the river and the surrounding canyons like the back of their hand.
We pride ourselves on having top of the line gear and equipment to provide the safest, most comfortable customer experience. We use Prijon, touring kayaks with rudders that paddle smooth and are easy to steer, they are sit-inside kayaks with padded backs and padded seats. All guests will wear a comfortably fitting NRS life vest, and have the use of an Aqua Bound paddle.
