About this Nominee

The Friends of the Nevada Southern Railway (FNSR) is a non-profit (501c3) tax exempt organization providing membership services to the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City.
Our mission statement: "We support the Nevada State Railroad Museum at Boulder City, Nevada, and its programs for the education and benefit of the public and Museum visitors through donations, staffing, maintenance, operation, construction and restoration of historic railroad equipment and models."
Our volunteers donated over 28,000 hours in 2022 to support the museum operations and our fundraisers. Our organization raised funds and donated over $250,000 in 2022 to benefit museum activities, maintenance, and restoration. Our 2022 special fundraiser events were the BC Bunny Express, the Train of Terror!, and the BC Santa Express. We will continue these events in 2023. Please support us and the museum.
